A poem every day for the entire year - by Keiron Tonge

April 14th - To Hell

Tan this sad and sorry hide
Until my eyes grow dark and wide
To reflect, for you, what’s left inside.
A man so beaten and denied
And broken. Send him straight to hell!
Ring the blackened funeral bell.
Condemn him to the ocean’s swell.
His fate? Oh, time alone will tell.
