A poem every day for the entire year - by Keiron Tonge

April 15th - A Fools Honour

By Sam Harrison & Keiron Tonge

Very well then, you can go.
Begin your foolish hunt for glory,
But I swear there’ll be no victory
But I will sit and read the story.
Because I let your guilt destroy you
In a way that bombs and guns could not.
I left you laying in the dirt and grass
where you’ll be forgotten and you’ll rot.
